hai.. how i LOVE yesterday. there was the thanksgiving day and the international friendship day. those two are LAME. whats really fun was the swimming carnival and sports meet. i was with janet, weili, jia ni and tianwei. actually clarice wanted to come along with us.
but miss chua limited us to only 5 people per place. tianwei and jia ni were not in full-u. but janet and weili and me were. so we had to be at the prize-table. actually the day before yesterday, i didnt know i was the only sec one chosen. jocelyn told me that it is Boss choose one. so no choice lorh. bring full-u. we arranged all the medals (only the sports one have trophies, swimming carnival dun have.) according to all the events. to be honest, i find the bronze one the NICEST. it somehow seems to have the "colour effect". but the gold one also has, but it looks more like the colour has faded. and the silver was just too DULL. it was really fast at the swimming carnival @ yio chu kang swimming complex. [we were actually late for senior wenyan jiejie was helping us to iron our uniform. :)] then came the prize-presentation. all the people there not enthu at all one. all SIAN-SIAN. for the 50m breast-stroke, we gave out wrongly. we gave the first the bronze medal, and the third the gold medal. cos they actually annouced the third then the second then the third one. we forgot. hope they know about it. haha. then after all this was over, we went over to the stadium. janet & i took a cup of MILO from the MILO van, B4 going in. at the satdium at the prize table already have senior wenyan jiejie and jocelyn and dorothy. so we no need to go there. so we go and help to sell things lor. at the so-callled "booth" (on the grass) there was daphne, Boss, Karen, Cherlene and Sheron. they tell us to help them to sell. so janet carried the box filled with tidbits, and weili carried the lollypop tin and the money. my job was to give the 'customers' their things and collect the $$$. then i met Audrey, Audrey, and i forgot still got who already. they bought a lot from me. :) then we pestered Dawn to bu. in the end she relented. hahas. after that we went back to the booth to give boss the $$$. then she gave me some soft drinks to sell. out of the 4 cans she gave me, 1 was coffee and the rest were 100PLUS. so far till the end, i only managed to sell one can of 100PLUS-to pingwen(if i'm not wrong). after some time of selling, the sports meet ended. think the champion house was david house. it was then di we find out that our boots were soiled. karen gave us some ice to play with. but janet used it to clean the mud and dirt away. i did the same. then she gave us bigger pieces of ice to clean with. then we went to pick up litter. after that, all of us went back to school to take our bags and change. after changing we went home of course. then clarice asked me:
she: kuen kuen, where do you live?
me: in yck. you leh?
she:i live in yck also.
me: really? what bus you take?
she: i take either 86 or 70.
me: really?! i also! (feeling excited that she might be living in the same condo as me.)
she: i live near amoy quee camp.
me: me too! so where do you live? is it sunrise gardens? (my home)
she: ya! no.. mine is onestop before yours.
me: orh..the cactus drive there right?
she:right..
then we waited for the bus together. 86 came first. so we took that bus. in the bus, we chatted. then she told me about when she actually stopped at the stop at motorola. then she reached her stop. but luckily, before she went, i got hold of her no. haha. i really LOVE yesterday. even till now. if only everyday will be like yesterday. that would be the BEST! haha. ;)
